Business Data Analyst

Do you want to contribute to better commercial results, more efficient processes, and healthy financial performance with your analyses? As a Business Analyst, you will be the connecting factor between commerce, operations, and finance.

You will delve into data, goods flows, and results, translating complex information into clear insights and concrete actions. You will work closely with colleagues from different disciplines and be an important sparring partner for the business. You will work for both the commercial division and operations.

A dynamic role for an analytical professional who thrives on business, seeks connections, and wants to make a visible difference with data. Your location will be our Seinehaven site in the Botlek.

Responsibilities

• You will build knowledge of chemical products and plastics and follow relevant developments in the supply chain.
• You will translate market developments, customer wishes, and regulations into clear processes and reports.
• You will analyze operational performance, volumes, costs, inventories, and service levels and translate these into concrete insights.
• You will develop dashboards and management information on revenue, margin, costs, and KPIs.
• You will support budgeting, forecasting, and scenarios and make financial opportunities and risks visible.
• You will support commercial processes with data, market insights, calculations, and business cases.
• You will manage commercial deal administration and ensure that the right information reaches the right teams in a timely manner.

Requirements

• You have completed a HBO or WO degree, for example, in Finance, Business Economics, or Supply Chain.
• You have at least 2 years of work experience in a similar role, for example, as a Business Analyst.
• You are analytical and strong in numbers and know how to translate data into clear insights.
• You have a good basic financial knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting, margin and cost analysis, and reading management reports.
• You communicate clearly and convincingly and know how to make complex analyses understandable for different audiences.
• You are proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• You have experience with MS Office and are proficient with Power BI.
• You are available 4 to 5 days a week.
