About the Position

We are seeking a Business Development & Key Account Manager for Luxury Automotive to join our team in Italy, focusing on expanding our presence in the Italian automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Market Entry: Develop commercial strategies and enter the Italian market.
  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and penetrate new business opportunities specifically in the Italian luxury and high-performance automotive segment.
  • Sales of Solutions: Effectively present our client's specialized portfolio, which includes Quality Planning, Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE), Task Force Management, and technical consulting.
  • Tenders and Negotiations: Conduct the entire sales cycle in the Italian context-from initial contact and RFI/R /RFQ management to final contractual negotiations, respecting local customs and commercial standards.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary high-level contact for new clients.
  • Project Supervision: Ensure that the services provided align with the end client's and our client's core values.
  • Upselling: Identify additional needs within the client's organization and expand the service portfolio (cross-selling).

Requirements

  • Experience: Over 8 years of experience in sales or business development in the Automotive sector.
  • Proven experience in selling complex services or high-end components directly to OEMs.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of automotive production cycles, quality standards (VDA, IATF), and OEM-specific procurement processes (preferably international).
  • Language Skills: Italian: Native or C2 level (mandatory). Must be able to negotiate at the highest levels and move comfortably within the Italian business culture. English: Excellent proficiency (B2/C1).
  • Hunter Mentality: Highly proactive, autonomous, and tenacious. Does not wait for opportunities to come; creates them.
  • Travel Availability: 50% of the time.
  • Charismatic presence with a high level of seniority capable of representing our client authoritatively at the C-suite or department head level.
  • Radical Transparency: Alignment with our client's value of honesty-propose and sell what the company can realistically excel in and maintain integrity in all client relationships.
  • Ability to work completely autonomously but also in a team when necessary and actively collaborate with the Top Management.
