About the Position
One Way Aerospace is rebooting the arsenal of democracy by providing long-range, precision strike drones mass-produced in Ukraine. Are you interested in building a system that will save lives and restore the sovereignty of Ukraine? Ready to change the world?
As we grow the business into new markets, we are looking for a Business Development Associate to join our team. You will be responsible for finding and pursuing new business opportunities, assessing market opportunities, speaking to potential stakeholders, designing business plans, and ensuring that opportunities become a reality.
Responsibilities
- Assess market opportunities and design business plans from end to end
- Speak to potential stakeholders and manage multiple stakeholders in the sales and reporting processes
- Manage the broader sales pipeline and your own pipeline
- Undertake research and analysis regarding new business opportunities and company expansion strategy
- Review commercial contracts to ensure they are commercially practical and reasonable
- Set up corporate entities and other business infrastructure in new countries and markets
- Manage and run ground operations in conjunction with aviation operations teams
Requirements
- 18 months ideally of experience in strategy, sales, operations, and stakeholder management
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to demonstrate PowerPoint and Excel skills used in a professional environment
- Entrepreneurial drive, business acumen, creativity, and ability to demonstrate both structured and lateral thinking
- Excitement about spending a lot of time traveling internationally
- Proven ability to build and manage a sales pipeline
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of defense systems
- Familiarity with large multi-stakeholder deals
- Knowledge of commercializing new technology
