We are seeking a Business Development Consultant to drive growth within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector in the US market. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, helping them define business challenges and translate them into tailored technology and transformation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the BFSI sector (banks, fintechs, insurance companies).
• Engage with enterprise stakeholders to understand business needs, regulatory constraints, and digital transformation goals.
• Drive consultative sales cycles from discovery through solution design and deal closure support.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to shape tailored BFSI solutions.
• Prepare and deliver value-driven presentations, proposals, and solution narratives.
• Support RFP/RFI responses in highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders (C-level, VP, Director level).
• Contribute to account strategy, pipeline development, and revenue growth planning.
• Monitor BFSI market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business development, solution consulting, or presales.
• Strong background in IT services, consulting, or enterprise software sales.
• Experience working with BFSI clients (banking, insurance, fintech) is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of enterprise sales cycles in regulated industries.
• Ability to lead consultative conversations with senior financial stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
• An analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into solutions.
