Business Development/Execution Office Support

About the Position

We are looking for a Business Development/Execution Office Support professional to join SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth and managing client relations.

Responsibilities

Business Development

• Lead generation: Develop overall sales strategies and create sales plans to grow SGS revenue for designated accounts/region.
• Customer relations management: Anticipate, identify, and understand client’s needs and concerns. Recommend various solutions offered by the company and translate them into sales opportunities.
• Market and competitor research: Prepare presentations, quotations, service agreements, and tenders within set deadlines.
• Maintaining of customer database: Maintain a database of clients with contact information: telephone, direct mail, email, and networking.

Execution Office Support

• Inspection coordination: Ensure the correct registration of inspection results executed by the inspectors of the assigned country/area/region.
• Follow up on pending requirements: Ensure files, registrations, and licenses are up to date.
• Invoicing: Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all jobs executed.
• Customer service: Provide support for the execution office.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators: Track performance indicators for inspectors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or equivalent.
• Practical sales experience.
• Knowledge of inspection procedures (internal training).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of international trade and regulatory compliance.
