About the Position
We are looking for a Business Partner Lead to join our team in Makati City, Philippines. This role is part of the Operational Design Control and Resilience (ODCR) organization, supporting WB Asia. The ODCR is responsible for the execution of Back-to-8 processes, focusing on the development and global implementation of integral risk & control frameworks, and continuously proving their effectiveness through testing and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of 10 to 15 Non-Financial Risk experts.
- Facilitate, support, and motivate team members.
- Create balanced risk awareness by making non-financial risk/1st line business control simple and engaging for the global ODCR community, local and global management, and others involved.
- Ensure non-financial business control management happens on a day-to-day basis.
- Execute key-control testing for both generic and specific controls throughout ODCR.
- Keep track of relevant developments and innovations (internal and external).
Requirements
- 7+ years of work experience leading a team in a Business Control, Risk, or Internal Audit environment (within a bank or outside).
- 10+ years’ experience in Process and Internal Control Implementation, Coordination, Scheduling, and Key Control Testing/Audit of Design and Operating Effectiveness.
- Experience in Conducting Non-Financial Risk Assessments.
- Ability to perform varied simultaneous tasks in an environment of medium to high complexity.
- Coordination of goals, progress, tracking, and follow-up with various parties of different nationalities.
- Ability to write and summarize test results in a concise and detailed output.
- Experience in various testing techniques such as corroborative inquiry, observation, re-performance, examination of documentation, and analysis of data sets to determine testing operating effectiveness.
- Responsibility in managing and upskilling other Business Control Officers using Agile rituals and practices.
- Responsible for developing the craftmanship of the Business Control Officers managed.
