Responsibilities

• Consulting for national and international companies on the planning, control, and implementation of transformation and implementation projects in the field of SAP S/4HANA EWM with a focus on Warehouse Automation and SAP EWM-MFS
• Analysis of existing warehouse and material flow processes and development of innovative target architectures for modern intralogistics and automation solutions
• Conception and implementation of integrated end-to-end processes between SAP EWM, SAP TM, SAP PP, SAP QM, and automated warehouse and conveyor systems, including the implementation of SAP EWM-MFS solutions for the direct connection of high-bay warehouses, conveyor technology, shuttle systems, sorting systems, driverless transport systems (AGV/AMR), and other automation components
• Conducting fit-to-standard and fit-gap workshops and providing technical support during the design, realization, testing, and commissioning phases of complex automation projects
• Development of innovative intralogistics solutions using modern technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), SAP Business AI, Predictive Analytics, Digital Twins, Warehouse Automation, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), identification of optimization and automation potentials to increase the efficiency, transparency, throughput, and resilience of logistics processes, and active participation in the further development of our EY offer for Warehouse Automation, SAP EWM-MFS, and intelligent warehouse solutions

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable field of study and solid experience in consulting, conception, or implementation of SAP EWM (Embedded or Decentral), either with SAP EWM Material Flow System (MFS) or comparable Warehouse Control Systems (WCS). Good knowledge of logistical core processes from goods receipt to dispatch
• Experience in the integration of SAP EWM with automated warehouse and material flow systems (conveyor technology, high-bay warehouses, shuttle systems, sorting systems, AGV/AMR) and understanding of technical integration scenarios between SAP systems, warehouse controls (PLC/SPS), and material flow computers. Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation, implementation, or rollout projects and interest in future topics such as AI, Warehouse Automation, Robotics, Digital Supply Chains, and IoT
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, high problem-solving competence, and a structured and independent way of working. Communication and moderation skills in dealing with departments, IT, and management, as well as very good German and English language skills (C1) and willingness to travel in national and international project environments
