About the Position

Odd Systems is a defense technology company specializing in the development and production of thermal imaging cameras. Founded by a group of entrepreneurs, engineers, managers, and technology enthusiasts with previous experience in several international technology companies, including Petcube, a global leader in pet cameras and software. The company's products, including thermal imaging cameras Kurbas, Svitlych, and others, are named after prominent figures of the "Executed Renaissance" and "Sixtiers" - Ukrainian intellectuals of the 20th century persecuted and destroyed by the Soviet regime. Odd Systems has offices in Ukraine, the USA, and the EU.

We are looking for a Business Process Manager/Coordinator who will become the link between departments and help the CEO and Operations Director establish, describe, maintain, and optimize processes within the company. This role is for someone who loves order, sees the big picture, and can "stitch" different teams around common tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize the company's internal processes to improve team performance and inter-departmental interaction.
• Implement new services, tools, and approaches to enhance team efficiency.
• Describe, structure, and maintain internal processes, regulations, instructions, and work rules.
• Describe processes and coordinate the work of cross-functional teams (e.g., between production, R&D, sales, procurement, logistics, finance, legal, and HR).
• Identify problem areas in operational work and propose solutions to address them.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of operational tasks.
• Assist management in preparing analytics, reports, and proposals for improving operational work.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role (Business Process Manager/Coordinator) for at least 2 years.
• Experience in describing, optimizing, and automating business processes.
• Ability to analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose practical solutions.
• Experience in interacting with various departments of the company.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate with people.
• Ability to work with task managers, spreadsheets, documents, and internal knowledge bases.
• Independence, attention to detail, and system thinking.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment where processes are still being formed and regularly updated.

Nice to Have

• Experience in miltech.
• Understanding of the specifics of working with production, procurement, logistics, or product development.
• Experience working in a fast-growing company or startup.
