Business System Owner (Support)

Intego Clinical is expanding its Data & Analytics practice in Poland. We’re looking for talented individuals to join our growing team!

The BSO Support role contributes to the successful delivery and operational readiness of R&D Master Data systems, including Reltio, SIMS, IDMP Ontology, Denodo, and related data domains. Working closely with the Business System Owner (BSO) and cross-functional teams, the role supports system validation, documentation, testing, and data governance activities to ensure high-quality, compliant, and reliable business solutions.

Responsibilities

  • System & Requirement Verification

    • Support the review and verification of business and functional requirements across system implementations
    • Assess whether implemented functionalities align with defined requirements and expected behaviours
    • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks between requirements, system configuration, and outputs
  • Documentation & Compliance Support

    • Assist in the review of DTMS and validation documentation (e.g. URS, validation plans, SOPs, access plans) to ensure alignment with internal standards and regulatory expectations
    • Identify documentation gaps, inconsistencies, or missing traceability
    • Support the preparation and maintenance of audit-relevant documentation
  • Testing & Validation Review

    • Review test strategies, test scripts, and test cases to ensure alignment with business requirements and acceptance criteria
    • Identify gaps, ambiguities, inconsistencies, or missing coverage within test documentation
    • Assess whether test design adequately reflects expected system behaviour and data flows
    • Support the completion and quality of validation and testing documentation
  • Data Flow & Interoperability Analysis

    • Analyse data flows across source systems, master data systems, and consumption domains
    • Identify inconsistencies in data mapping, transformations, and downstream usage
    • Support improvements in data consistency, reuse, and interoperability across systems
  • Cross-System Support

    • Provide structured support across multiple R&D systems and initiatives (e.g. Reltio, SIMS, Denodo, IDMP Ontology, Stewardship tools)
    • Maintain awareness of dependencies and interactions between systems, domains, and projects
    • Contribute to consistency and alignment across initiatives and implementations
  • Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and data owners
    • Support clarification of requirements and resolution of issues
    • Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations in a clear and structured manner
  • Continuity & Knowledge Support

    • Develop a strong understanding of system landscape, ongoing initiatives, and key topics
    • Support continuity of activities by following up on key topics and documenting outcomes
    • Provide structured updates and context to support ongoing discussions and decisions

Requirements

  • Experience in system validation lifecycle, including documentation review, testing, and quality assurance practices within structured delivery environments
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, data governance principles, and data integrity expectations
  • Ability to review and challenge business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with expected system behaviour and business needs
  • Experience reviewing validation deliverables (e.g. URS, test scripts, validation documentation) with strong attention to completeness, traceability, and consistency
  • Ability to analyse complex system interactions, data flows, mappings, and integrations across multiple systems and domains
  • Capability to identify gaps, inconsistencies, risks, and misalignments across requirements, system configuration, data, and documentation
  • Understanding of GxP environments and regulatory expectations related to system validation, compliance, and audit readiness
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to structure findings and provide clear, actionable insights
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments, collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders
