About the Position

On behalf of Tipalti, SD Solutions is looking for a talented Business Tools & Process Analyst to step onto a fintech unicorn rocketship! We are becoming an AI-first organization and are focusing on a hands-on approach to drive operational excellence through data, automation, and AI-enabled workflows. You will partner across our Operations teams - including Customer Success, Support, Onboarding, Payment Ops, and Compliance - to identify opportunities for efficiency and translate them into working, scalable solutions. This role is ideal for someone who is both data-driven and eager to apply AI to real operational problems. You won't just analyze data; you will design, build, and maintain the AI-powered workflows that drive measurable impact across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Data Strategy & Insights

    • Analyze operational and customer data to identify trends, risks, and performance drivers.
    • Strategize and build reporting frameworks and dashboards that surface insights to leadership and frontline teams.
    • Develop predictive models and scoring logic (e.g., churn risk, health scores) to inform strategic planning.
    • Maintain core data hygiene, governance, and quality practices to ensure reliability.
  • AI & Automation

    • Collaborate with leaders to identify automation opportunities and bring user stories to life through working solutions.
    • Design, configure, and maintain AI workflows using tools such as Gemini, Glean, Workato, UIPath, and other automation platforms.
    • Build and iterate on automations (e.g., ticket summarization, forecasting models), ensuring they are effective and user-friendly.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot live workflows to ensure they adhere to standards for security, compliance, and reliability.
    • Track and ensure adoption of AI and Workflows.
  • Process Optimization & Infrastructure

    • Map and optimize customer-facing and internal processes for scalability.
    • Improve onboarding, milestone tracking, and adoption workflows to enhance customer outcomes.
    • Standardize playbooks, scorecards, and journey frameworks across the customer lifecycle.
    • Document automations and develop playbooks to support scale and adoption across teams.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership

    • Partner with Product teams to relay customer signals, trial new AI capabilities, and influence roadmap prioritization.
    • Collaborate with CS and Support leaders to design feedback loops and escalation paths.
    • Lead enablement and training for internal teams on new processes, systems, and AI tools.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years in operations, business intelligence, or automation engineering.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in SQL, BI tools (Power BI), and Excel/Sheets.
  • AI/Automation Expertise: Hands-on experience implementing AI or workflow automation platforms (e.g., Workato, UIPath, Gainsight automation).
  • Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with CRM and CX systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, or Gainsight.
  • Problem Solver: Ability to turn raw data into insights and clear recommendations.
  • Builder Mindset: "AI-curious" and persistent; comfortable failing fast and iterating until a solution works.
  • Communicator: Clear communicator who can make complex workflows easy for non-technical teams to understand.
