Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of Purchase Orders (POs), including creation, shipment tracking, accurate data entry, and proactive resolution of logistics bottlenecks.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess waste (dead stock), anticipating future material needs to maintain lean inventory.
• Manage departmental budgets, audit vendor invoices to ensure accurate charges, and drive a strong ROI on all company spend.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Production to ensure procurement activities support the entire business ecosystem and satisfy internal customer needs.
• Conduct ethical sourcing audits regarding supplier labor practices and environmental impact while solving straightforward supply chain problems using standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 4 to 5 years of prior experience in buying, purchasing, or a related procurement role (strong experience in the apparel industry preferred; strong interest in the sports industry preferred).
• Well-versed in purchasing techniques, logistical supply chain management, vendor selection processes, and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data trends, supplier performance, and bottom-line invoice details.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills paired with strong customer service acumen to maintain healthy vendor partnerships.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $54,075 - $80,752 CAD/year. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
