Our Purchasing Team in Hattersheim am Main is looking for a Buyer for Indirect Materials & Services (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

Independent execution and monitoring of procurement activities
Interface function with internal and external stakeholders
Optimization and digitalization of procurement processes
Selection, qualification, and evaluation of existing and new suppliers, as well as market analysis
Further development and optimization of existing supplier relationships, considering changing market conditions
Monitoring of supply chains and active risk management
Price and contract negotiations for key commodity groups (framework and service agreements)
Identification and implementation of cost-saving potentials
Development and definition of the strategic direction for key commodity groups and their operational implementation
Product category management
Execution of various procurement projects

Requirements

Ideally, you have knowledge and professional experience in the mentioned field and have successfully completed vocational training as an industrial clerk or hold a degree in business administration
At least three years of professional experience with a focus on purchasing / procurement / supply chain
You are a team player and work analytically, carefully, and reliably, with a high level of independence and a solution-oriented mindset
You have strong MS Office skills as well as experience working with ERP systems
You are motivated to make an impact, are interested in our products, and enjoy working with people
You have very good German skills and a basic command of English
