About the Position

Veolia Italia is seeking a Buyer to join the Purchasing function of UdB Nord Est. This role will support procurement processes and vendor management, ensuring the achievement of competitiveness, quality, and timeliness in acquiring new contracts and concessions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the correct management of the entire negotiation process in compliance with company procedures.
• Support Operations and commercial structures in achieving competitiveness, quality, and timeliness in acquiring new contracts and concessions.
• Assist in the offer/response phase for public and private tender bids, cost analysis, and purchasing estimates for materials, services, and works.
• Support the Purchasing Manager in vendor management activities, including the identification of potential suppliers, local and national, and collaboration in the qualification process.
• Collaborate in vendor rating activities.
• Support other phases of the Payable Cycle, with a focus on managing supplier payments.
• Promote and facilitate a culture of continuous improvement in processes and operational practices.

Requirements

• Diploma/Master's degree in technical/economic disciplines.
• Knowledge of subcontracting contracts and the Public Procurement Code, as well as the technical and productive characteristics of the supplies and services to be handled, is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in similar or medium/large companies operating in the sector.
• Passion for the energy and procurement world.
