Buying Trader

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced and professional Buying Trader with a deep understanding of the market oils and meal. Should understand Sunseeds and Soybean crushing industry of Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the grain market, monitor price fluctuations and demand, conduct forecasting, and determine procurement strategies.
• Negotiate contracts for the purchase of oils and meal with suppliers in accordance with established standards and requirements.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers.
• Optimize logistical processes and organize oils and meal delivery via rail transportation to the European Union.
• Participate in price negotiations, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers and clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trading oils and meal commodities.
• In-depth knowledge of the oils and meal market and a successful track record in procuring volumes exceeding 100,000 tons annually.
• Understanding of rules and regulations related to oils and meal trading within the European Union.
• Experience in railway logistics and supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills, stress tolerance, and the ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency in English, sufficient for business correspondence and negotiations.
