The successful candidate will join a development project building systems for high-frequency and low-latency trading systems in real-time. The trading platform works across various asset classes, including Equities, Options, Futures, and FX. The team is responsible for the full software life cycle of these systems, working closely with business partners in sales, trading, risk management, compliance, operations, research, and other technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop low-latency, high-performance electronic trading applications and application infrastructure as part of a global strategic low-latency Algo/Electronic trading plant renovation.
- Conduct analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of strategic and tactical solutions for execution strategies, improving scalability, performance, and efficiency.
Requirements
- C++ development experience
- Unix/Linux experience
- Agile software development practices
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of financial products/trading, and experience in the financial industry
Nice to Have
- Multithreading experience and knowledge
- Experience with low-latency trading
- Former experience in the field of applied mathematics
