About the Position
C++ Developer (m/f/x) Pattern Team (Expert Level) 1545
Join us in Böblingen and take on challenging software engineering tasks in the semiconductor domain, developing high-performance C++ solutions that power advanced test systems and support the validation of next-generation semiconductor technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced software components in modern C++ in a Linux development environment
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of the SmarTest8 pattern framework
- Implement digital pattern translation from pattern sheet definitions to different test boards
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams
- Ensure software quality through code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to long-term architectural decisions
- Support continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and engineering practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong understanding of OO design and software architecture
- Expert-level proficiency in C++
- Familiarity with Linux development environments
- Experience with large-scale, complex software systems
- Strong debugging, performance analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with multithreading and concurrent programming
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Excellent communication skills in English
