C++ Developer with background in physics

About the Position

We are seeking a C++ Developer with a background in physics to join our team for a project in the Oil & Gas domain, focusing on reservoir management. This role is part of a new team that will be closely working with one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Work on the core part of a numerical simulator.
• Develop steady-state or transient numerical models for fluid dynamics.
• Implement these models in C++ code.
• Validate the results.

Requirements

• Must have

  • 3+ years of work experience with C++.
  • Background in Physics.
  • Good English skills: ability to read/write in English and conduct basic conversations over the phone.

• Nice to have

  • Good knowledge of numerical methods, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
  • Ms.S or Ph.D. degree.
  • Knowledge of petroleum/reservoir engineering.
  • Experience with Java.
