For various client projects at our Erlangen-Tennenlohe and Berlin locations, we are seeking several
C++ SOFTWARE ENGINEERS
(M/F/D)
Responsibilities
You will work with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction on our challenging, international development and consulting projects, covering everything from preliminary consulting and requirements definition through implementation to system testing and commissioning at the customer’s site, depending on your interests and qualifications.
The range of topics is broad: it spans from hardware-related software development of embedded systems for the manufacturing industry, through middleware development in the automotive sector, to the development of smart home solutions in the “Internet of Things.”
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or another field of natural sciences or engineering.
- Familiarity with modern software engineering, from UML and OOP to Scrum and Kanban.
- Confident and secure command of the C++ programming language in a current version.
- Experience with some of the following technologies or tools:
- Static code analysis, e.g., with Clang-Tidy or Cppcheck
- Automation of unit and integration tests, e.g., based on GoogleTest
- Build systems, e.g., CMake or Bazel
- Dependency management, e.g., with Conan
- Unix-like operating systems, e.g., Linux or Yocto
- Real-time operating systems, e.g., FreeRTOS or QNX
- Embedded systems
- Ideally, several years of professional software development experience.
- Strong command of both spoken and written German and English.
