Calypso Support Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Calypso Support Analyst with strong expertise across Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives, Money Markets, and Front-to-Back trade lifecycle processing. The role will support a greenfield Calypso environment and partner closely with Business, Operations, Accounting, Finance, Risk, and Technology teams to support day-to-day activities, strategic initiatives, and platform stabilization.

Responsibilities

  • Support and troubleshoot day-to-day production issues across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Accounting, Operations, Finance, and Risk functions within Calypso.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents and coordinate resolution of P1/P2 issues with Nasdaq and internal technology teams.
  • Establish an integrated and scalable support approach for a greenfield Calypso implementation.
  • Support Front-to-Back trade lifecycle processing including trade capture, settlements, confirmations, accounting, cash flows, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Provide SME support for Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives, Money Market products, Repos, and related treasury products.
  • Support Front Office activities including trade capture, pricing, valuation, market data validation, and trade lifecycle event processing.
  • Support Pricing & Valuation functions including P&L validation, sensitivities, curves, market data, and valuation troubleshooting.
  • Support CWS Risk Analytics, risk reports, exposures, VaR, sensitivities, and downstream risk reporting processes.
  • Support Calypso Reporting Framework, scheduled tasks, batch jobs, interfaces, and operational monitoring activities.
  • Develop and support solutions addressing Back Office, Accounting, Operations, Finance, and Risk requirements.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate SIT/UAT testing activities, user validation, approvals, and production deployment activities.
  • Coordinate production releases, implementation activities, post-production validation, and issue resolution.
  • Partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver strategic and transformational initiatives.
  • Manage deliverables while ensuring transparency around risks, issues, dependencies, and project status.
  • Prepare and provide status updates to stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Establish best practices, operational procedures, and supporting documentation standards.

Requirements

MUST

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of Capital Markets and Calypso experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Calypso Back Office workflows, accounting engine, settlements, confirmations, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting CWS Risk Analytics and enterprise risk reporting.
  • Understanding of accounting flows, reconciliations, operational controls, and regulatory reporting.
  • Knowledge of SQL, interfaces, and system integrations is a plus.
  • Prior experience within Banking or Financial Services organizations preferred.

  • Experience working with Operations, Accounting, Finance, Risk, and Technology teams.
  • Business Analysis experience including requirement gathering, documentation, and acceptance criteria creation.
  • Experience coordinating UAT, production releases, and deployment activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
