About the Position
Career Development and Performance Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a Career Development and Performance Lead to oversee talent development initiatives in Kuwait, aligning with global standards. The role involves identifying career enablers and frameworks, defining initiatives for counselor and performance management excellence, and ensuring compliance with global talent development standards.
Responsibilities

Identification and Deployment:
- Identify Career Enablers and Frameworks aligned with Global Talent Development priorities.
- Reflect region-specific factors such as budget and maturity.

Initiatives and Planning:
- Define initiatives to drive counselor and performance management excellence.
- Input region priority career enablers and frameworks into the Region CDP strategy and planning.

Execution and Compliance:
- Oversee planning and execution of career enabler and framework projects.
- Track compliance with global talent development standards and processes.
Performance

Execution and Compliance:
- Oversee execution of the Regional Performance Management processes.
- Act as a custodian for global performance management standards and drive regional compliance.

Management and Identification:
- Drive active management and identification of low performance in the business.
- Identify areas of concern and need for change.

Support and Collaboration:
- Support capability building of all roles connected to performance management.
- Collaborate with Talent Consultants.
Development

Needs Identification and Planning:
- Identify regional development needs in collaboration with business leaders.
- Input regional development priorities into the Region CDP strategy and planning.

Relationship Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Region Talent Development Leader and senior business stakeholders.
- Build close working relationships with region learning leads and talent executive colleagues.

Consultation and Collaboration:
- Consult with and work in close collaboration with Talent Consultants.
- Understand business needs and determine talent development solutions.

Service Improvement:
- Act as a champion for new ways of working across CDP.
- Oversee adoption of CDP new ways of working within the region.
Requirements

- Leadership: Leadership capabilities and ability to manage resources.
- Strategic Planning: Comprehensive understanding of strategic planning.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management and business consulting skills.
- Talent Development: Talent development functional expertise and knowledge of trends.

- Client Focus: Strong client focus with the ability to network, manage relationships, and work virtually/across borders.

Qualifications
- Experience: Significant experience of working in HR in professional services or corporate environment.
- Preferred Experience: Experience of working in organizational behavior, talent development preferred.
- International Experience: Working in international and diverse environments.
