Carrier Sales Rep

About the Position

We are seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to join our logistics team in Belgrade, Serbia. Focus on sourcing carrier capacity and building carrier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Source and secure reliable carrier capacity for customer freight across FCL, FTL, and LTL modes.
• Negotiate spot market rates with carriers to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure reliable capacity and competitive pricing.
• Manage carrier communication and load coverage throughout the freight procurement process.
• Monitor market conditions and carrier availability to make informed pricing and sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely load coverage and successful shipment execution.
• Maintain accurate records of carrier activity, pricing, and load status in internal systems.

Requirements

• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with carriers, internal teams, and customers over the phone and via email.
• Upper-intermediate + English Level.
• 1-2 years' proven experience working in a Carrier Sales role or a similar logistics role in brokerage.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions

• Working schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
