Category / Brand Manager

About the Position

Our partner, an innovative European beverage company, is currently seeking candidates for the position of Category / Brand Manager.

Role Objective

Develop and implement long-term and short-term strategies for category development by brand

• Build and regularly update the category roadmap
• Generate proposals for new product development (NPD) within the category
• Analyze the performance of the existing product portfolio

Responsibilities

Product Portfolio Management

• Analyze the performance of the existing portfolio based on sales and financial indicators
• Initiate the launch of new SKUs and propose the removal or rotation of underperforming SKUs
• Coordinate production to ensure consistent quality and timely product release
• Define the roles of brands within the category and ensure effective brand positioning

Pricing

• Develop pricing strategies for the category by brand
• Create and regularly update pricing indices
• Develop pricing strategies for new products
• Monitor the competitive pricing environment

Marketing and Promotional Activities

• Develop and implement creative advertising campaigns
• Create a marketing activation calendar for all products in the category
• Provide recommendations for product placement across sales channels
• Plan expenses for entry into new retail outlets and chains
• Participate in special projects and collaborations (initiation, negotiations, contract preparation)

Requirements

• Proven experience in Product Portfolio Management
• Expertise in Pricing strategies
• Strong skills in Marketing and Promotional Activities
