Category Manager

About the Position

We are seeking a Category Manager to join our FMCG team in Stefanowo, Poland, focusing on category strategy and market growth.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from Nielsen, GFK, and other sources to identify market trends and opportunities.
• Implement category strategies for spices, herbs, and wet categories with key retailers.
• Optimize shelf space (planograms) and manage assortment for key clients (HM, SM, DISC, TT); collaborate with clients.
• Prepare sales results, market share, and promotional effectiveness reports and presentations.
• Develop sales arguments.
• Work closely with Key Accounts, Trade Marketing, and Marketing to define growth platforms and generate category growth.
• Post-evaluation of implemented activities, analysis of their effectiveness – creating recommendations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Category Management, Shopper Insights (experience in FMCG, Retail, or analytical/research firms is a plus).
• Experience in working with network clients to develop categories (developing assortment and planogram recommendations) to maximize category potential in stores and identify development directions.
• Very good knowledge of Nielsen or Spaceman programs.
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI.
• Business acumen, strong commercial orientation.
• Ability to build business relationships and work in a team.
• Problem-solving skills, decision-making, good communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, active listening).
• Good knowledge of English.

Salary

The starting salary begins at 214,000 PLN gross per year. The final amount will be determined based on skills, education, experience relevant to the position, and internal pay equity among current employees.
