Category Purchaser PCB (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Category Purchaser PCB to join our team at AUMOVIO in Timișoara, Romania. This role is integral to our category management and supplier negotiations, ensuring the best market conditions for AUMOVIO.

Responsibilities

As a Category Purchaser, you will:

• Lead and be responsible for the definition and implementation of Subfamily/MGR strategy within a cross-functional environment.
• Conduct market analyses and build expertise and intelligence about the market, materials, and suppliers.
• Manage high responsibilities in the sourcing process, including supplier selection, price negotiations, and closure of legally binding contracts.
• Conduct negotiations for frame contracts and annual price agreements.
• Support improvement programs with suppliers, re-design to cost measures, and other cost reduction programs.
• Ensure efficient controlling by implementing correct data in the respective systems, correcting local data, and monitoring purchasing KPIs.
• Drive and support pooling activities with external cooperation partners.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office package (programs and SAP R/3).
• Fluent Business English.
• German knowledge is an advantage.
• Stress resistance, conflict resolution abilities, assertiveness.
• Intercultural sensitivity, good networking, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
