About the Position
Nursa is always looking for ER CNAs to pick up per diem jobs in Oklahoma City Northwest, Oklahoma. If you are a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) looking for great-paying and completely flexible per diem hospital work, we have multiple shift opportunities for you in the Oklahoma City Northwest area!
Responsibilities
- Assist in triaging and assessing patients upon arrival, gathering vital signs and pertinent information
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide necessary support during procedures and treatments
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting any changes to the nursing staff promptly
- Aid in transporting patients within the hospital and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Provide comfort and emotional support to patients and their families during stressful situations
- Assist with stocking and maintaining emergency room supplies and equipment
Please note that responsibilities are at the discretion of the facility and may vary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an ER or critical care setting
- Current, active CNA certification in this state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Ability to provide physical assistance to patients as needed
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on facility needs
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to different healthcare facilities within the area
Qualifications
- Completing a nurse assistant course that meets state requirements
- Passing the respective state’s competency exam and obtaining a certification or license-if applicable
- Following oral and written instructions
- Working as part of a team
- Providing compassionate and reliable care
- Communicating effectively within a team
