Chargeback Analyst

We are looking for a dedicated Chargeback Analyst to join our innovative fintech team at CloudWalk. If you enjoy diving into transactions, uncovering hidden patterns, and transforming complex dispute data into clear narratives, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

• Analyze disputes and chargeback flows to determine the appropriate actions
• Investigate cases from start to finish, examining transaction timelines, evidence, money flow, and root causes
• Develop and review representment/defense cases that are clear, well-documented, and win-oriented
• Delve into data to identify patterns, fraud signals, and process gaps that need attention
• Utilize and enhance our AI/automation tools to handle disputes more efficiently and intelligently
• Collaborate with various teams across CloudWalk, including Risk, Compliance, Product, Data, and Engineering

Requirements

• Familiarity with using LLMs/AI tools in daily work and curiosity about agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Mastra)
• Basic coding/scripting skills (reading code, SQL, light automation) – engineering experience is not necessary
• Strong analytical thinking and a natural curiosity ("why did this happen?" is your default mode)
• Problem-solving mindset and a strong desire to learn new things daily
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a busy workload
• Excellent writing skills for case summaries, dispute defenses, and Slack updates
• Clear communication skills in threads, huddles, and direct messages
• Ownership mindset – you identify what's broken, propose better solutions, and drive decisions, not just execute them
• High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial data
