About the Position

Chef de chantier F/H

Framatome, a global leader in nuclear energy, is seeking a Site Manager to oversee nuclear site operations in Chalon-sur-Saône, France. This role involves leading and coordinating interventions on nuclear sites, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Site Management:

  • Organize and manage the administrative aspects of multi-intervention sites.
  • Coordinate all activities and interfaces on-site.
  • Ensure adherence to the schedule and address technical and contractual deviations.
  • Maintain regular communication with teams, clients, and headquarters regarding site progress.
  • Ensure the production of contractual deliverables, including end-of-intervention and intervention reports.

• Team Leadership:

  • Supervise multi-trade intervention teams throughout the project.
  • Organize, distribute, and monitor team activities.
  • Support and evaluate personnel, especially new hires, to enhance skills and knowledge transfer.
  • Foster team unity around project objectives and safety, quality, and performance requirements.
  • Manage tension or crisis situations with responsiveness and discernment.
  • Provide internal and external updates based on project progress.

• Client and Stakeholder Representation:

  • Serve as the primary site contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interface with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners.
  • Build and maintain a lasting relationship of trust with clients based on listening, reliability, and quality of execution.
  • Represent the company with local authorities and inspection bodies when necessary.
  • Ensure the proper application of contractual commitments to clients and subcontractors.

• Client Relationship and Business Development:

  • Connect headquarters teams (preparation & site monitoring, technical, project) with clients on the ground.
  • Listen to expressed and emerging client needs.
  • Identify opportunities for business development in collaboration with project and sales teams.
  • Contribute to experience feedback and anticipation of future needs.
  • Participate in kick-off meetings with clients.
  • Provide technical proposals to support projects and, as needed, contribute to commercial offers.

Requirements

• Education: Bac+2 to Bac+5
• Experience: Confirmed experience with demonstrated autonomy as a site manager, activity manager, or test manager.
• Skills:
  • Strong technical and operational skills.
  • Excellent managerial and human qualities.
  • Ability to lead a team, make decisions in complex contexts, manage priorities, and maintain high standards over time.
• Knowledge: Good understanding of environments related to our activities: projects, products, organization, and QSE systems.
• License: Driving license (Permis B) required.

We Offer

• Competitive salary: €50,000 - €70,000
• Permanent on-site work in France with frequent travel.
