About the Position

Responsibilities
- Analyze, research, and develop product features with advanced cheminformatics capabilities
- Integrate and adapt existing cheminformatics algorithms for use specified by the client
- Develop and maintain databases for chemical data storage and retrieval
- Ensure that the code and components comply with internal quality standards
Requirements
- Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a similar field
- Strong knowledge of cheminformatics and molecular modeling
- 2+ years of experience in Python programming
- Knowledge of RDKit or a similar library
- Desire to grow as an IT specialist in Life Sciences and Cheminformatics
Nice to Have
- Be experienced in Numpy, Pandas, JupyterLab, Git
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with machine learning applications for chemistry
- Critical thinking skills, experience in wet-lab research and conducting experiments
