Chief Design Engineer / Process Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a Chief Design Engineer / Process Engineer to develop layouts and design engineering systems for retail areas in Kyiv and Rigeon city.

Responsibilities

• Layout development: Creating schematic layouts for store areas and preparing the pre-design stage.
• Engineering systems: Designing internal HVAC systems - heating and ventilation, water supply and sewerage systems, and electrical engineering solutions.
• Furniture and equipment layout: Designing the placement of checkout areas, shelving, and selecting retail equipment.
• Documentation: Supporting design and as-built documentation, coordinating with contractors, and conducting designer’s supervision.

Requirements

• Higher technical education.
• Knowledge of construction codes and standards, including those related to accessibility for people with disabilities.
• Skills in designing and developing engineering solutions.
• Ability to analyze space and identify obstacles.
• Responsibility and attention to detail.
• Development of planning solutions for retail sales areas.
• Design of engineering networks, including ventilation, air conditioning, and power supply, as well as ergonomic placement of equipment in compliance with Ukrainian state construction standards.
• Confident user of Outlook, Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Ukrainian rules, regulations, and legislation in the field of construction.

Education / Specialization

• Higher education in construction or civil engineering.

Work Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
