Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Chief Integration Developer with expertise in Dell Boomi to lead the assessment and optimization of API integrations as part of a system modernization and AWS migration effort. This role will provide critical insights into existing architecture and help shape the future-state technology landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Review the current implementation of Dell Boomi, including ~135 services and 50+ integrated applications
  • Analyze client-provided documentation to gain insights into existing integrations and functionality
  • Develop a comprehensive inventory of APIs and integrations detailing data flows and use cases
  • Evaluate the quality of the existing integration implementation and identify optimization opportunities
  • Provide actionable recommendations for service modernization and integration design for AWS migration
  • Assess the feasibility of retaining Dell Boomi or migrating to a native Java/AWS stack
  • Estimate project effort and runtime costs for Dell Boomi modernization efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align integration strategies with broader business goals
  • Ensure alignment of integration practices with technical and security best practices

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Background in Dell Boomi with strong expertise in API integration lifecycle, including reviewing and optimizing complex implementations
  • Strong experience with integration tools such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or Informatica
  • Knowledge of AWS services, API Gateway, and Java, with a technical understanding of cloud-native architectures
  • Familiarity with API and data flow documentation tools and methodologies
  • Capability to assess and provide strategy for modernizing system architectures
  • Showcase of strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in integration optimization
  • Flexibility to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and adapt to dynamic project environments
  • Fluency in English, with a minimum B2+/C1 level for effective communication

  • Skills in AI agents development for intelligent process automation
  • Understanding of applying AI technologies to enhance integration frameworks
  • Exposure to emerging AI and machine learning applications in integration systems
