Chief SAP Logistics Consultant SD, S/4HANA

About the Position

We are looking for a Chief SAP Logistics Consultant SD, S/4HANA to shape customs logistics and supply chain processes on SAP S/4HANA at scale. You will drive functional delivery across customs topics, interfaces (IDocs, API-based integrations), and stakeholder alignment for retail projects, with regular travel to Metzingen-apply now.

Responsibilities

• Assess business needs, produce functional specifications, and support testing and operational work
• Design and refine customs-related processes within SAP S/4HANA
• Oversee and support interfaces, including IDocs and API-based integrations
• Advise business stakeholders by providing functional guidance and support
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enable smooth end-to-end project delivery
• Travel to Metzingen, Germany, twice per month for 3 days each trip

Requirements

• Proven professional background with 7+ years of general work experience
• Extensive hands-on exposure with 4+ years working on SAP S/4HANA
• Strong functional knowledge of customs-related processes
• Hands-on experience with SAP interfaces, including IDocs and API-based integrations
• Demonstrated participation in SAP implementation projects and/or roll-outs in a functional role
• Solid track record in requirements analysis, functional specifications, testing, and operational support
• Retail domain experience is required; fashion domain experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel regularly to Metzingen

• German language skills (optional, but beneficial)
