We are seeking a Chief Specialist for the Production Studio Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to lead creative projects and develop high-quality content.

Responsibilities

• Performs the writing of scripts, individual fragments of scripts, plots, and other materials to provide the air with a competent, high-quality, and professionally executed product.
• Develops creative ideas of programs and their dramaturgy, together with the director and creative team searches for new plot moves, develops concepts, proposes new solutions, and their implementation in video materials.
• Carries out script development of topics stated in the programs, collects all the facts and materials necessary for writing scripts, works on mastering objects, meets with the heroes of future video materials, prepares them for future interviews if necessary.
• Within its competence in a defined sphere of activity, the Department provides interaction with the structural units of the Ministry's apparatus, central executive bodies, whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Guard, institutions, institutions, and enterprises, belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
• Participates in the development of draft legislative and regulatory acts, current and prospective work plans of the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Department.
• Prepares relevant draft decisions on current tasks, participates in the development of proposals, complex measures relating to a given field of activity.
• Participates in briefings, press conferences, live broadcasts on radio and television, round tables with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
• Develops and implements plans for comprehensive SMM campaigns.
• Provides timely responses to letters, appeals, statements, complaints, requests for information on issues within the competence of the department.

Requirements

• Education: Higher, with an educational degree not lower than a bachelor's or junior bachelor's degree.
• Work experience: Does not need.
• Proficiency in the state language: Fluency in the state language.

Salary

Official salary according to the staffing table in the amount of 10,600 hryvnias. Increase to the official salary by rank in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 18, 2017. № 15 “Issues of remuneration of employees of state bodies” (with amendments). Other allowances, surcharges, and bonuses - in accordance with Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”.

Term of Appointment

For the period of quarantine established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in order to prevent the spread in Ukraine of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and until the date of determination of the winner by the head of the public service according to the results of competitive selection in accordance with the legislation.

Application Process

A person wishing to participate in the selection for appointment to a vacant position shall submit the following information through the Unified State Service Vacancies Portal:

1. An application indicating the main reasons for taking up the position in accordance with Appendix 1 to the Procedure for Appointment to Civil Service Positions for the period of quarantine established in order to prevent the spread in Ukraine of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 290 of April 22, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure).
2. A summary in the form in accordance with Appendix 2 to the Procedure.
3. A statement informing that it is not subject to the prohibitions specified in the third or fourth part of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Purge of Power”, and gives consent to the inspection and to the disclosure of information about it in accordance with the said Law.

Appendices to the application are not required to submit. Information is accepted until 16.45 hours on December 18, 2020.
