Chief Specialist of the Department of Social and Labor Relations and Awards

About the Position

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announces a competition for the vacant position of Chief Specialist of the Department of Social and Labor Relations and Awards within the Department of Personnel, Organization of Educational and Scientific Activities.

Responsibilities

• Consideration of materials sent to the department on awarding employees with honors of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, departmental awards of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, preparation of relevant proposals on these issues for a report to the management.
• Preparation of materials for the nomination of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, departmental incentive awards of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, institutions and institutions of the Ministry, territorial bodies, central executive bodies, and military administration bodies for the appointment of awards to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, departmental incentive awards of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
• Preparation of draft orders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on employee incentives.
• Preparation of analytical reports and other documents on award practice of structural units of the apparatus, institutions and institutions of the Ministry.
• Information-analytical and organizational work on the department's activities.
• Consideration of appeals of citizens, institutions and organizations, parliamentary requests and appeals of people's deputies of Ukraine, requests for information on issues that fall within the competence of the department.
• Other work related to the application of labor law and civil service.
• Implementation of organizational measures to fulfill the tasks of the leadership of the Ministry.

Requirements

General Requirements

• Higher educational degree of a bachelor's or bachelor's degree.
• Fluency in the state language.

Special Requirements

• Higher education at the educational degree of a junior bachelor or bachelor in the field of knowledge “Law”, “Management and Administration”.
• Knowledge of legislation including the Constitution of Ukraine, Laws of Ukraine “On Civil Service” and other laws of Ukraine, international treaties, resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, acts of the President of Ukraine, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and central executive bodies.
• Professional or technical knowledge such as skills of interpretation of legislative acts, ability to draw up documents of an administrative, business nature, experience in conducting business correspondence, preparation of analytical references, ability to work on computer technology.
• Knowledge of modern information technologies including the level of confident PC user, experience with the office suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), work with information bases.
• Personal qualities such as the ability to solve tasks that require organizational skills, reasonable initiative, the ability for constant professional and self-improvement, communicability, ability to work in a team, responsibility, persistence, ability to work in stressful situations.

Salary

• Salary: 4308 UAH
• Surcharge to the official salary by rank in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated April 06, 2016 No. 292 “Some issues of remuneration of civil servants”.
• Surcharges and surcharges (in accordance with Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”).

Documents submitted for participation in the competition are accepted until 17.00 on December 15, 2016.

Required Documents

• A copy of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine.
• A written application for participation in the competition indicating the main reasons for taking up a civil service position (in the form in accordance with Appendix 2), to which a resume is attached in an arbitrary form.
• A written statement in which a person informs that he is not subject to the prohibitions specified in the third or fourth part of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Cleansing of Power” and gives his consent to the inspection and disclosure of information about him in accordance with the said Law or a copy of the certificate of the established form on the results of such verification.
• Copy (copies) of the document(s) on education.
• Completed personal card of the established sample.
• Declaration of the person authorized to perform the functions of the state or local government, for the past year.
