Chief Strategy Officer

About the Position

We are looking for a Chief Strategy Officer who is strong in both strategy and execution with proven success delivering cross-functional, technical programs efficiently and on-time. At One Way Aerospace, we envision the CSO as not only the glue that will hold cross-functional teams together but also as an empowered decision-making function, driving us forward to achieve our ambitious mission of defending Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Analysis: Conduct research, define requirements, and interface internally and with external stakeholders to support the development of systems integration processes and the build of systems integration technology.
• Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Ensure that One Way Aerospace’s technology–related processes and operations meet regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships, and develop communication mechanisms with key stakeholders on One Way Aerospace’s performance and impact.
• Continuous Growth: Identify opportunities to expand One Way Aerospace’s reach within the public/private defense systems and defense system supply chains.
• Articulate the company’s mission clearly and concisely that can speak to customers and employees at all levels.
• Collaborate with CFO to develop a capital plan in line with the strategy.
• Analyze the success of products, projects, and activities.
• Identify key capital projects, joint ventures, potential M&A targets, and other strategic partnership opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership, special committees, and consultants to execute strategies.
• Discover ways to increase revenue by eliminating wasteful practices and expediting product delivery.
• Lead and support management in the application and implementation of new policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in marketing or business development.
• 3+ years of strategic experience in a similar environment, management consulting, or investment banking.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent people skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Available to travel.
