Web Developer

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with experience in Statamic, Laravel, PHP, and SEO optimization to join our team.

About the Position

Join our dynamic team as a Web Developer and contribute to the development and optimization of our web platforms. Your expertise in Statamic, Laravel, and PHP will be crucial in enhancing our web presence and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites using Statamic (Laravel 12/13, PHP 8.3+)
• Design and layout pages and develop templates using Antlers and Blade
• Configure and optimize SEO metadata
• Optimize website performance

Requirements

• Experience with Statamic: flat-file data storage, Collections, Entries, Taxonomies, Globals, Blueprints, and Fieldsets
• Template development experience with Antlers or Blade, understanding of data cascading inheritance
• Basic Laravel experience: routing, configurations,.env, artisan/please commands, project structure
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, responsive design, and basic JavaScript
• Understanding of On-page SEO: title, meta description, correct header structure, alt attributes, canonical URLs
• Experience with SEO applications (SEO Pro or Advanced SEO): meta tag settings, Open Graph, sitemap, redirects, and robots.txt
• Strong Git skills: working with branches, commits, and Pull Requests

Nice to Have

• In-depth Statamic experience: creating custom Fieldtypes, modifiers, and tags
• Static Caching setup (half/full) and cache invalidation rules optimization for Core Web Vitals
• Glide experience: optimization and responsive images (WebP/AVIF, sizes for Open Graph)
• Multisite project experience: localization, hreflang, localized default SEO settings
• Structured Data / JSON-LD implementation experience (Schema.org): Organization, BreadcrumbList, Article, Product
• Technical SEO understanding: index management, pagination with rel=prev/next, crawl issue analysis
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console experience
• Headless architecture experience with SEO via REST API
• Eloquent Driver experience for large content volumes
• Advanced Laravel knowledge: service providers, events, queues, CI/CD setup, and deployment processes

Responsibilities

• Manual testing of web/mobile applications
• Verify tasks according to requirements and designs
• Create and maintain checklists and test cases
• Describe bug reports with clear reproduction steps
• Perform regression and smoke testing
• Check fixed bugs
• Communicate with QA Lead, developers, and managers
• Work with task tracker and test documentation

Requirements

• Basic understanding of testing theory
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC, types/levels of testing
• Ability to write clear bug reports
• Basic experience with DevTools
• Basic understanding of API, HTTP methods/status codes
• Postman experience is a plus
• Attention to detail, responsibility, willingness to grow in QA
• English proficiency for reading documentation and basic communication is a plus

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial PHP development experience
• Experience integrating AI tools
• 1+ year of experience as a Tech Lead
• Deep understanding of PHP 8+
• Expert knowledge of Laravel and understanding of the framework's internal architecture (DI, lifecycle service providers, HTTP and Console kernel)
• Experience designing high-load systems
• Experience developing and scaling REST API
• Strong knowledge of MySQL 8, query optimization, and transaction handling
• Experience with Git / GitHub
• Experience with Linux / Unix systems (Ubuntu)
• Understanding of server infrastructure
• Experience integrating third-party services and payment systems
• Experience managing an engineering team
