About the Position
Civil - Associate Engineering Technician - Water
Join Black & Veatch as a Civil - Associate Engineering Technician - Water to support infrastructure projects in Charlotte, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Orlando.
Responsibilities
- Supports engineering teams under general supervision
- Performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Uses digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
- Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables
- Begins providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering technicians
Requirements
- Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
- Basic Civil3d experience is required with use of pipe/pressure networks, proposed grading surfaces, and plan and profile development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate preferred.
- Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
