About the Position
Evoplay, a leading product IT company in Ukraine, is operating on the international market and developing comprehensive B2B solutions for the online gaming industry. We are currently looking for a Compliance & Onboarding Lawyer (KYC / Due Diligence) to join one of our new projects.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing client onboarding procedures for White Label and Turnkey projects.
- Conducting client checks against internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring applicable laws and regulations in licensed jurisdictions.
- Supporting licensed entities in communication with regulators.
- Collecting and verifying documents for clients and partners (KYC/AML).
- Liaising with compliance officers of banks and PSPs.
- Performing legal due diligence on clients and partners (reputation, litigation, sanctions, tax risks).
- Preparing and maintaining internal AML/KYC guidelines.
- Training employees on compliance-related matters.
Requirements
- Law degree from a reputable university; compliance-related certifications are a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, AML/KYC, or gaming industry law.
- Strong knowledge of international AML/KYC frameworks and due diligence procedures.
- Experience in interacting with regulators and licensing authorities (Curaçao, Anjouan, Cyprus).
- Familiarity with White Label and Turnkey models in the online gaming sector is an advantage.
- Excellent English (advanced level).
- Detail-oriented, with ability to design and implement internal procedures.
