About the Position

Client Service Ambassador

We are looking for a dedicated Client Service Ambassador to join our team at SGS, the world's leading testing, inspection, and certification company. In this role, you will act as a liaison between clients, laboratory management, and department personnel, ensuring quality client interactions and providing technical support.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and timely responses to internal and external client inquiries and requests
• Communicate results, problems, and discrepancies to clients and follow issues through to a satisfactory conclusion
• Track and trend client data as required
• Identify client concerns, complaints, and trends and recommend changes to accommodate client needs
• Set up new client accounts in LIMS and create required documents for sample submission for new clients
• Maintain records of all client communications and requirements
• Notify the laboratory of special client requirements and monitor for compliance
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards is maintained

Requirements

• Education and Experience
  • 4-year degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a closely related field; alternatively, equivalent work experience (Preferred)
  • High school Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Effective problem prevention and problem-solving skills (Required)
  • Written and verbal communication skills necessary to cross multiple disciplines (Required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (Required)
  • Proficiency with LIMS and Client Portal systems (Required)
  • Ability to interact with clients, affiliates, and employees effectively while maintaining a professional and pleasant work approach even under stressful conditions (Required)
  • 1+ years of laboratory experience (Required)
