About the Position

Clinical Pharmacist Overnight Shift Job at UF Health, St Johns, FL

This is an overnight position with a schedule of one week on and one week off. The shifts are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide and support pharmaceutical care including medication dispensing, preventing, identifying, and resolving drug-related problems.
• Promote optimal therapeutics and medication education.
• Participate in the performance improvement, academic programs, and clinical research activities of the department.
• Serve as a liaison to the medical and nursing staff.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D. degree (Doctor of Pharmacy).
• Skills:
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products.
  • Fine motor coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Computer skills and accuracy in calculations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Supervision of technician employees.
• Licensure/Certifications: Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida or eligible for Pharmacist license in the State of Florida within 90 days of the date of hire/transfer.
• Experience: Less than one year of pharmacist/intern experience.
