About the Position
Part of the Wealth Management division of a well-known financial organization, this position will work closely with Technical Architects in evaluating, designing, and implementing cloud solutions, performing studies, POCs, and delivering guidelines, sample code for development teams and production teams, ensuring systems are secure and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product owners and ITGP technical architects in evaluating, designing, and implementing cloud solutions within our internal cloud infrastructure.
- Design, document, and execute proof of concepts for internal cloud services, technologies, and architectures.
- Act as a bridge between Technical Architects, ToolChain, and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth cloud adoption.
- Ensure cloud design and implementation plans align with architecture roadmaps, blueprints, standards with a strong focus on adherence to group standards and production performance and stability.
- Communicate architectural directions and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and innovation.
- Draft and update procedures and instructions regarding operations.
- Lead the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
Requirements
- Must have a computer science academic background.
- Overall 7+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years of experience in Cloud Technologies (GCP/AWS/Azure) with Cloud Certification.
- IBM Cloud/ AWS / Azure / GCP architect and deployer skill.
- Experience building and deploying highly available and low latency systems as service-oriented architecture, event-driven architecture using Spring Boot, Python, Redis, and Kafka.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration solutions (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift) and Helm.
- Understanding and using Continuous Integration (CI/CD) systems (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab CI, ArgoCD) and networking concepts.
- Experience in managing high availability (e.g., Keepalived, ALB, Elastic IP, DNS Load Balancer).
- Technical documentation writing skills to prepare architecture documents, proposals, and guidelines.
- Ability to learn and deep dive into new technology and business domains, and to troubleshoot problems in unfamiliar environments.
