About the Position
Noesis is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team in Lisboa, Portugal. If you have a passion for optimizing cloud spending and driving FinOps best practices across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize cloud spending by monitoring cloud cost data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving FinOps best practices across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.
- Support for cloud deployments.
- Deliver financial insights and reporting through dashboards, reports, and data analysis using Excel, Power BI, and FinOps tools to support informed business decisions.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate cloud cost analysis, financial forecasts, and recommendations to improve cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Finance, and Architecture, to promote financial accountability and implement sustainable cloud cost optimization strategies.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer.
- Solid knowledge of Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud, with a strong understanding of cloud billing and cost optimization.
- Experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or Cloud Financial Analysis is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- Experience in cloud cost management tools (such as IBM Cloudability) is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform data into business insights.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in Finance, Engineering, and Product environments.
- FinOps Foundation and/or AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications are a plus.
- Advanced level of English.
