Cloud Operations Manager

About the Position

We are seeking a Cloud Operations Manager to join our team and optimize enterprise cloud operations by ensuring the reliability, security, performance, and cost-efficiency of our cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to maintain scalable cloud environments, automate operational processes, and support business-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure availability and performance.
• Coordinate incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Support automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD practices.
• Monitor cloud resource utilization and assist with cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud deployments and operational improvements.
• Maintain operational documentation and participate in on-call support as required.

Requirements

• Must have

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud operations, incident management, and production support.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or Prometheus.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience supporting Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud governance and FinOps principles.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, or NIST.
  • Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
  • Exposure to leading operational initiatives or coordinating global support teams.
  • Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
