About the Position
We are seeking a Platform Architect to collaborate with our client, a prominent global leader in the health care and agriculture sectors. This esteemed organization prioritizes innovation and sustainable practices, dedicating its efforts to advancing scientific solutions that improve health and agricultural productivity. As a Platform Architect, you will play a crucial role in transforming their cloud infrastructure and DevOps toolchain. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on developing cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and DevOps toolchains, providing expert consulting services and enhancing on-site collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work directly with the client’s team in Leverkusen (twice a week, with Thursdays being mandatory for office presence), facilitating robust on-site collaboration and contributing to the advancement of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the client to design and implement efficient cloud infrastructure and DevOps toolchains
- Engage directly with the client’s team to ensure seamless integration and effectiveness of cloud solutions
- Provide expert advice on best practices and strategies for cloud technologies and DevOps infrastructure
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture or related fields, with a focus on AWS cloud solutions
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, DevOps practices and infrastructure
- Experience working with AWS Cloud, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Python for AWS Lambda functions
- Ability to work with various technical stacks; expertise across multiple technologies is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction and collaboration with the client, ensuring seamless integration and effectiveness of cloud solutions
- Fluency in German is essential for successful communication and collaboration
