About the Position
CMA - Long Term Care $22.95 per hour
Pathway Homes, located at 844 S Veitch St, Arlington, VA, is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to fill shifts starting on October 15, 2026. This is a per diem position offering flexible scheduling and competitive pay rates.
Responsibilities
As a CMA, your duties may include:
- Providing patient care
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living
- Documenting patient care and maintaining health records
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
- Listening to patients, comforting them, and communicating relevant information to supervisors
- Observing, recording, and reporting changes in a patient's condition to supervisors
- Collaborating with the rest of the healthcare team
- Maintaining safety standards and infection control procedures
- Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A current and valid license or certification
- The ability to provide compassionate and reliable care
- Good time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
