About the Position
We are looking for a Collections Specialist with German (f/m/d) to join our expanding Shared Services Centre in Warsaw. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing team, work closely with business stakeholders across the DACH market, and have a real impact on cash flow management, customer relations, and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of customers across the DACH region
- Proactively collecting outstanding receivables via phone and email
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring timely payments
- Investigating and resolving payment delays, invoice discrepancies, and disputes
- Collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and other stakeholders to resolve complex cases
- Monitoring overdue balances and identifying risks within the portfolio
- Preparing and analyzing collection reports, aging reports, and AR metrics
- Supporting cash flow forecasting activities
- Driving process improvements and contributing to the development of best practices within the Cash Collection function
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and collection procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cash Collection / Accounts Receivable
- At least 1 year of experience within an SSC, GBS, or international corporate environment
- Experience working with German-speaking customers (DACH market)
- Strong phone-based collection and negotiation skills
- Experience managing a high-value customer portfolio
- Advanced SAP knowledge (FI / FI-AR) and familiarity with FSCM
- Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
- Understanding of AR KPIs such as Aging, DSO, and Cash Flow Forecasting
- Fluent German and English (both C1)
