Commercial HVAC/R Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Perform commercial refrigeration service and repair
• Troubleshoot heating, air conditioning, electrical, controls, and refrigeration-related issues
• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC/R equipment
• Identify equipment failures and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Complete HVAC and refrigeration repairs accurately and efficiently
• Take ownership of assigned HVAC/R service calls from diagnosis through completion
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues and repair needs
• Follow established safety procedures and industry best practices
• Maintain organized tools, equipment, and work areas
• Deliver dependable, professional service on every job

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of HVAC/R experience
• Commercial refrigeration experience
• Strong HVAC service, troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair skills
• EPA Universal Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to diagnose HVAC/R equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs
• Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work an on-call schedule
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned service calls
• Dependable approach to safety and quality workmanship
