About the Position

As a Commercial Support Engineer After Sales, you will play a central role in supporting our international customers and ensuring the successful delivery of technical service solutions. You will manage inquiries from a diverse range of clients worldwide - including end users, agents, distributors, and sales offices.

In this role, you will help define project scopes, coordinate services internally, and ensure that customers receive high-quality support and timely solutions. You will work closely with different departments and act as a key link between customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Activities

  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define the scope and solution for service-related inquiries.
  • Translate customer needs into clear and accurate quotations.
  • Collect and evaluate information from various departments such as engineering, logistics, field engineering, and finance for complex or non-standard requests.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients in Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus).

Post-Sales Activities

  • Manage and process customer orders in the ERP system.
  • Monitor delivery timelines and proactively follow up on potential delays.
  • Coordinate and schedule field service engineers when required.
  • Ensure service orders are completed successfully and meet customer expectations.

Scope of the Role

  • Support customers worldwide (excluding the United States).
  • The position is office-based in Amsterdam with close collaboration across internal departments.

Requirements

  • A technical background (degree in engineering or a related field is preferred).
  • Experience in project coordination or a similar role within a technical or industrial environment.
  • Strong analytical and systematic thinking skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities.
  • A proactive, results-driven, and persistent working style.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (additional languages are an advantage).
