About the Position

Communications Manager

ING Hubs Poland is hiring an Expert Lead Communications to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing our internal and external communication strategies, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global ING Group communication standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the communication strategy for ING Hubs Poland, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global ING Group communication standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on internal and external communication, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and implement crisis communications and issue management plans when needed.
• Lead the Communications Team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Design and deliver impactful communication campaigns that strengthen employee engagement, support business transformation, and enhance organizational reputation.
• Oversee external communications, including media relations, social media, and events.
• Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring consistent and effective communication across all channels.
• Support senior executives with strategic messaging, leadership communications, and speaking engagements.
• Contribute to and support ING Group communications initiatives, campaigns, and strategic priorities.
• Represent ING Hubs Poland within the global communications network, sharing best practices and ensuring alignment across locations and functions.
• Monitor and measure communication effectiveness.
• Implement new communication tools and formats, including the use of AI, to improve reach and engagement.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in communications, including developing and executing internal and external communication strategies in large organizations.
• Experience in change communications, organizational transformation, and employee engagement.
• Ability to act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and support them with strategic communications and thought leadership.
• Strong expertise in employer branding, reputation management, crisis communications, and media relations.
• Experience in managing internal and external communications tools such as SharePoint, Viva Engage, Spotler, and LinkedIn.
• Experience leading communications teams.
• Combine a strategic mindset with hands-on execution capabilities.
• Proactive, resilient, and focused on delivering business value through communication.

Nice to Have

• Experience in technology, banking, financial services, or shared services environment.
• Experience working in an international organization with multiple stakeholders.
