About the Position
Compliance Officer (MiFID / Crypto)
Change is a rapidly growing FinTech providing everyone in Europe access to exciting investments. We are seeking a hands-on Compliance Officer who understands how regulated companies operate in practice, not just on paper. You will be responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance within our MiFID and MiCA activities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that our MiFID II and IFR/IFD obligations are correctly integrated into our operations.
- Maintain and improve AML/CFT and transaction monitoring processes.
- Translate legal requirements into practical internal processes.
- Support ongoing supervision and contact with regulators.
- Assess product changes and new functionalities before launch.
- Ensure that policies, implementation, and operational practices remain aligned.
- Help strengthen the company's reputation and regulatory standing.
- Utilize strong judgment and engage external advisors only when necessary.
- Work proactively in a rapidly changing environment.
- Collaborate closely with product, legal, and senior management teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in compliance or financial regulation.
- Strong understanding of MiFID II and AML/CFT processes.
- Experience in working with regulators.
- Ability to translate regulations into practical implementation.
- Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MiCA or crypto-related regulations.
- Familiarity with custody, Travel Rule, or sanction processes.
- Experience in an environment supervised by the AFM or DNB.
- Proficiency in the Dutch language.
