About the Position

NN Belgium is seeking a Configurator / Integrator for SE to support and implement changes in their life insurance policy management system, migrating from UL3 to Oxygen (based on INSIS).

Responsibilities

Support and implement changes within the existing UL3 solution, including configuration and integration work using VBScript
Utilize AI tools like GitHub Copilot for analysis, coding, and testing of changes, learning, and incident management
Analyze and resolve incidents and investigate root causes in a structured manner
Translate business needs into technical requirements and workable solutions
Contribute to integrations and API-related work connected to UL3 and surrounding systems
Help build knowledge of UL3 data to support and facilitate the migration to Oxygen (INSIS)
Gradually familiarize with Oxygen (INSIS) to support the transition and future system setup
Perform module and integration testing and support user acceptance testing when necessary
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to propose pragmatic improvements aligned with timing and priorities
Support infrastructure, security, and lifecycle activities required for various projects within an integrated Azure DevOps environment

Requirements

At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a complex IT environment in development, configuration, integration, or application support
Relevant diploma or equivalent experience in IT
Strong experience and knowledge of structured programming; knowledge of VBScript is a plus
Knowledge of APIs and application integration principles
Good understanding of life insurance principles, ideally with specific knowledge of second-pillar solutions for self-employed individuals
Interest in understanding data structures and business data within UL3
Knowledge of INSIS is a strong plus
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps and AI tools is an asset
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with your team and other departments
Proven experience in application configuration, development, and integration
A curious mindset and willingness to learn, explore, and understand
A “can-do” mentality and drive to solve problems
Willingness to deepen your knowledge of UL3 data to support the migration
Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
